Last night at the Grand Rapids Griffins game Drake rode the Zamboni! It was just last week that he told us if he was given the chance he would get up there and ride it. (In the past he has given us a firm 'No') Well, last night he was walking the concourse with my mom and they were approached and asked if he'd like to ride it after warm ups.

He didn't wave at all, but he did have a smile on his face and was excited. He as totally been out of his shell the past few days. Yes, I know the pictures are a little blurry, I only had my phone and I guess I couldn't hold it still, plus he was moving too.

It came out this week that Go Daddy was a supporter of SOPA. It also came to light that they helped write some of the bits as well. Now I know they have decided to change their mind and not like SOPA any more, but you can't change the fact that they helped out with it.

For years I've used Go Daddy as a domain registar simply because it was easy to do and the price was right. However, for months I've been checking out other hosting sites because the cost of their hosting just wasn't a value to me any more for what I use it for. Their support of SOPA just means that I'm jumping ship sooner, and taking my domains with me as well.

I don't use a lot of space or bandwidth for what I have on the internet so a really low cost hosting solution is right for me. The winner turns out to be Nearly Free Speech. They are a pay as you go, only pay for what you use, kind of host. It works out well for me. The winner for my domains is Name Cheap. They are inexpensive and are Lifehacker's Best Domain Name Registrar.

All of the transfers are about complete and I'll probably be closing my Go Daddy account later today.

So I've gone and ordered a set of colorful Wii straps from Club Nintendo. I'm not sure if this makes me more of a; dork, nerd, or geek.

I didn't think there was a change in hell I was going to get a Cr-48 Chrome notebook from Google, but UPS dropped one off today!

I do have to give UPS a large thumbs up for actually getting the notebook to me. When I signed up for the pilot program I gave Google my office shipping address. The thinking is that I'm there during the day and not at home.

Well, the UPS label has my office street address; the city is stated as a census-designated place near my house, a city that's not really a city, but the post office uses it for mail; then my home zip code. It is amazing the box even made it to me.

Looking up the tracking number I got this from UPS: MULTIPLE ERRORS EXIST IN THE ADDRESS LABEL. UPS IS ATTEMPTING TO DETERMINE THE CORRECT INFORMATION TO COMPLETE DELIVERY / THE ADDRESS HAS BEEN CORRECTED. THE DELIVERY HAS BEEN RESCHEDULED
